Claudia Egido Vinogradov

Claudia hails from San Antonio, and is attended Texas Tech University, where she studied for a career as an art teacher and professional artist, leveraging her interest in and skill with art.
She came to the United States from Mexico, and currently lives with her mother and sister while her father remains in Mexico. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Claudia was mainstreamed in her local schools. She is well-rounded in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities, and was involved in gymnastics and cheerleading during high school and was quite successful in both, including placing second in the state in the vault.
A confident, creative woman who has proven eager to dive in and tackle new things, Claudia achieved a very high GPA at Winston Churchill High School and is a talented artist. She took AP Art and won several awards, given by the Texas Art Education Association and the Southwest School of Art, from which she received a scholarship to attend their summer art studies program.
